To further facilitate cross-border travel between China and other countries, the Chinese government has decided to expand the scope of its visa-free entry policy. From June 9, 2025, to June 8, 2026, holders of ordinary passports from Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain will be eligible for visa-free entry into China for purposes such as business, tourism, visiting family or friends, cultural exchanges, or transit, provided their stay does not exceed 30 days.

Individuals who do not meet the conditions for visa exemption must still obtain a visa prior to entering China.
