On September 18th, Chinese Ambassador to the Maldives H.E. Mr. Kong Xianhua meets with Maldivian Minister of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure Mr. Abdulla Muththalib. The meeting was also attended by Minister of State for Construction, Housing and Infrastructure Ibrahim Thoaam Mohamed and Counselor Mr. Zhang Xu from the Chinese Embassy.

The two sides exchanged views on actively implementing the important consensus reached by the two heads of state and further promoting cooperation between China and Maldives in the field of infrastructure.
