On 16th, September, Chinese Ambassador to the Maldives H.E. Mr. Wang Fukang meets with the newly appointed Minister of Youth and Sports, H.E. Mr. Ahmed Zuhoor.
Ambassador Wang Fukang sent his congratulations to Minister Zuhoor for taking the new post and noted both leaders attach great importance to bilateral relations and facilitate its advancement. Ambassador Wang expressed the hope to strengthen bilateral exchanges and cooperation in various fields including youth, sports and culture. Both sides also exchanged ideas on the expected visit by Beautiful Tianjin Art Troupe of China.
Minister Zuhoor thanked Chinese government for its continuous and immense support for the Ministry of Youth and Sports and promised to further conduct cooperation and exchanges with the Chinese side. Besides, Minister Zuhoor briefed Ambassador Wang progress of several sports utilities construction projects and expressed the hope to attract more Chinese investment.
